LightBox Plugin for WordPress
I have been looking for a plugin that I could add to my sites that would enable image thumbnails to open on the same page as full size images. I came across LightBox just now and it looks very promising. I have tested it on a test blog, (always test on a test blog first) and it seems to be fine. I have found some minor bugs but I can live with them until it is perfected.
LightBox uses some fancy javascript but works in both IE and FF just fine. Simply put it will have all full size images open on the same page while graying out the background and leaving the full size image in the foreground. Pretty slick. Once the user clicks again on the page it reverts back to normal.

3GSM World Congress in Barcelona
So today kicks off day one of 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona which is the largest GSM vendor show of the year. I would like to be there but then again, I would most likely not understand this stuff. I have just posted over 12 articles on MobileWirelessNews.com and I can feel my wrist getting more stiff as I type. Not my most creative work, but it is filler. Hopefully traffic will pick up with time so I can justify my efforts.
K2 Theme
I figured since I am using there theme I should pay my respects to the authors of the K2 theme and format I am using. I dont fully understand how the K2 series of themes really work, but I can say from the little I had read, I am quite impressed with there work. I also really like the layout of this page and the color formating. With the implementation of K2 I was forced to delve into WordPress 2.0; I am kinda leery on new releases especially since I am really not good with this stuff and are afraid of a huge MELT DOWN!
K2 is more then just a theme, it takes over the entire blogging experience to make it a more advanced, user friendly environment. Understanding K2 is on my list of things to do as well as finish learning CSS, XHTML and Javascript (on top of finishing my other little tasks and holding down a job).

New site, New Style
So I figured I would start this site as my official, unofficial Blog. My first site was TheBazil.com and that was fun for a bit; it started as a general gadget, toy and wireless website. I then realized that it would be best to narrow down the exact theme of the site, so I geared it towards wireless phones and industry news. Traffic really started to pick up but I knew the only way to really keep traffic was to get a real domain.
That is where Mobile Wireless News.com started; it was a very strong domain that had the intentions of the site perfectly inline. Mobile Wireless News.com is doing quite well and I started to customize the themes to get what I want, well almost. I now know that I have NO sense of design or layout. Fuck it.
My intentions for this site are to be general discussion and random thoughts. I am not going to spend time trying to create themes for this site, I will leave that to people who know what they are they are doing and have awesome imaginations.
