Ouch!
Ouch, is all I can say right now. I decided to join a gym to get back into shape; I used to be in decent shape many moons ago. I started on Friday with the basic bench press and light weight work out. I was smart and kept the weight low since I know that I can do major damage if not careful.
On Saturday I decided to hit the racquetball court since I had not played that in years also. I did better then expected and plan to continue to play hopefully on a weekly basis.
Getting old sucks ass.
Pay for Performance, does it really pay?
My current employer (which shall remain nameless until they piss me off), has decided to change its pay practice to what they dubbed Activity Based Compensation. In short, no longer will we be paid by the hour but paid by how much we produce.
I am currently employed by an outsourcing company that provides IT and HR solutions for its clients. My division supports the IT and desktop support for what may be the most well known company in the world (they too shall remain nameless).
The term that sticks in my head all during the introduction of this is Pay for Performance. Numerous online searches have returned a lot interesting reading, none of which seem to be promising.
I am Addicted to Google Reader
I have been using the updated Google Reader for about a week now and I cannot believe how I have become addicted to it. It feels like internet crack. I used to have all of my daily reading websites set up as a favorite in Firefox and would choose to open them all in tabs at once. This would tie up my computer for about a minute since it would have to load all the sites. In most cases 75% of the sites had not updated any information and I had wasted my time.
Now that I have been using this I only need to visit sites that are updated and can choose which articles interest me.

New theme and a new look
While browsing through the wordpress.org support forums I came across a new theme by Hoofei which he titles “Hoofeiv4″. I don’t know what it is about certain themes that seem to grab your eyes but this one does a lot.
I have tried for a long time to create themes for other wordpress sites and have never come this close to perfection. I will be tweaking it over the next few days to fit my needs but doubt it will need much adjusting.
